It’s not just about having stock, you need to be able to get that stock picked and out to site fast. This is what we have always done and we still do everything we can to pull out all the stops for customers now.
From our 26,000 sq. ft. modern facility in Blackburn, Lancashire which is serviced by 4 cranes and modern handling equipment, customer orders can be processed and delivered the next day or collected on the same day from our network. We operate and maintain our own private fleet of delivery vans and trucks covering the UK, in addition to using third party couriers services and haulage suppliers where appropriate.
We’re also committed to reducing our environmental impact and continually improving the environmental performance of our fleet of vehicles.
Our Warehouse Management System automatically categorises metal orders by size and location.
Smaller loads can then be delivered to the customer using our fleet of smaller trucks more suited to urban routes than larger vehicles, so customers can be assured of the environmental validity of the products supplied.
